부산국제영화제(BIFF)가 아시아 영화계의 대표적 축제로서 올해 제30회를 맞이하며, 총 241편의 영화를 상영합니다. 이는 지난해보다 17편 증가한 수치입니다.
올해도 특히 프랑스가 집중 조명되며, 프랑스가 주 또는 공동으로 제작한 59편의 영화가 영화제에 공식 초청되었습니다.
또한 BIFF는 올해 배우 줄리엣 비노슈를 기리는 특별 프로그램을 마련했습니다. 세계 영화사에 깊은 자취를 남긴 그녀의 40년 연기 인생을 기념하는 자리로, 압도적인 감정적 깊이를 보여준 대표작들이 상영됩니다. 이번 프로그램에는 레오스 카락스 감독의 《퐁네프의 연인들》(1991), 크쥐시토프 키에슬로프스키 감독의 《세 가지 색: 블루》(1993), 그리고 줄리엣 비노슈가 직접 연출한 신작 《In-I In Motion》(2025)이 세계 최초로 공개됩니다.
