Le Festival International du Film de Busan (BIFF), rendez-vous majeur de la cinéphilie asiatique, célèbre cette année sa 30e édition et présentera un total de 241 films, en hausse de 17 par rapport à l’année dernière.
La France sera particulièrement mise à l’honneur, avec 59 films de production majoritaire ou minoritaire française sélectionnés par les équipes du festival.
Le BIFF rend cette année hommage à Juliette Binoche avec un programme spécial en son honneur, célébrant quarante ans de carrière qui ont marqué le cinéma mondial par des interprétations d’une intensité émotionnelle hors du commun. Au programme : Les Amants du Pont Neuf (1991) de Leos Carax, Trois couleurs : Bleu de Krzysztof Kieślowski (1993) et le film In-I In Motion (2025) réalisé par l’actrice et présenté en avant-première.
